Secret Explorer

Secret Explorer 8.0.1546

Editor's Review - Secret Explorer
Secret Explorer reads the protected content on your local machine or a remote machine (Windows Protected Storage) and displays reports containing: user names and passwords for all mailboxes known to Outlook, user names and passwords for all password-protected web resources saved by Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer web form auto-complete data & passwords.

The program will display the password protected Web pages in a folder tree on the left side of the screen, while on the right side, the program will display the login and password. The program will generate text reports including all the retrieved data. In order to import passwords from a remote machine, you need to have access to its registry.

Pluses: You can import or export the passwords to another computer in case you need to work on several machines. You can also retrieve MS Outlook account and identity passwords, dial-up passwords and pretty much any password stored on your machine.

Drawbacks / flaws: You can't retrieve any passwords stored by other web browsers such as Opera or Firefox.

In conclusion: A very good password retrieving software. Easy to use, compact and stable.
